I Tried to Resist

Cleo wasn't supposed to stay. He already knew that letting her this close was a bad idea. The smart thing would have been to keep his distance, ignore the teasing, and move on with his day. He tried. But every touch made it harder. Every glance made it worse. What starts as a simple visit quickly turns into a battle he was never going to win. Some temptations are easy to avoid.
